Ylodia (pronounced Low-Dia) is a Master's student in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University, passionate about helping others cultivate meaningful and purposeful lives. With a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and 14 years of teaching experience, she has developed skills in coaching, collaboration amongst parents and peers, and program development that foster growth and success.
Currently, Ylodia works as a middle school Library Assistant, guiding students to explore their interests, set academic goals, and grow personally. This experience has enabled her to embrace qualities such as patience, compassion, and empathy for one-on-one work as a counselor.
"My approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which offers practical , evidence-based strategies to support positive change. Drawing from my background in Education and Counseling, I am committed to meeting individuals of all ages where they are and empowering them to reach their full potential".
