Melanie has a specialized focus on working with Veterans and First Responders as part of our VFR Program. She has completed advanced trainings in Veteran and Military Culture, as well as treatment interventions for trauma, PTSD, and dissociation. She understands the unique challenges faced by those in high-stress, service-oriented roles; supporting them to better navigate the intricacies of processing experiences and maintaining day-to-day functioning.
Melanie earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Cognitive and Behavioral Neuroscience from Colorado State University in 2021. Driven by her passion to understand the brain and supporting others on their journey to growth and healing, she has obtained her Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Missouri Baptist University with a graduation date of May 2026. Future advanced trainings will include EMDR Therapy through EMDRIA and qEEG Neurofeedback.
