My mission is to support you as you navigate the journey towards recovery, and progressively regain a sense of self-assurance and trust - both within yourself and in your relationships with others.
Additionally, as a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, my distinct expertise lies within the unique needs of individuals with disabilities. My comprehensive education and specialized training enable me to possess a profound understanding of all facets related to disabilities. I focus on empowering individuals to conquer and navigate the personal, social, and psychological challenges that may impact their employability and ability to lead an independent life. By leveraging my skills and knowledge, I strive to create a therapeutic relationship that enhances vocational success and improved quality of life."
Mirranda holds a Master of Arts degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Maryville University. In 2017, she became a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, demonstrating her commitment to excellence in her field. Continuing her journey of professional growth, she obtained a status of Licensed Professional Counselor with the State of Missouri and completed Certification in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). In 2021, amidst the pandemic, Mirranda launched Osage Valley Counseling, LLC, driven by her desire to extend trauma treatment to those seeking much-needed support.
